The Mental Health and Activities Hub

Boost is our Programme to make people healthier, happier and get the most out of life. It strives to bring people together to do group activities, organise events and make people active. Our objective is to get people to go out and do things. The activities range from dance classes to walks in the park. It is a volunteer-led programme, and we work with many other community organisations to promote our Boost Programme. One of the streams of the Programme is focused on assisting older people over 65. Our initiatives for this segment include helping them with digital skills to enable them to experience the joys of the connected world. Activities to combat loneliness and working with care homes to make life pleasurable for their residents.

Digital Buddies

Digital Buddies is a Project to help people learn how to make the best use of their phones, tablets or computers. It is open to all residents of Slough who are not confident with technology or want to make better use of the online world. It is an intergenerational project. People of all ages are welcome to join as a person who wants to learn or as a tutor who wants to help others learn digital skills.

Free English Workshops

Our immersive English workshops have been designed to support residents to improve their confidence in speaking in English. The workshops are in a group setting to enable participants to support each other on their journey to speaking English with more confidence.
