CODE OF CONDUCT​

The Slough Hub is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all community members. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and consideration and to abide by the following codes of conduct:

We expect all employees to uphold the highest standards of
professionalism, ethics, and integrity and to abide by the following Code of
Conduct:
1. Respect others: We expect all employees to treat each other with
respect, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual
orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion
(or lack thereof), or other personal characteristics.
2. No harassment: We do not tolerate any form of harassment,
including but not limited to offensive comments, verbal or physical
abuse, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome attention. If
someone tells you to stop, you must stop immediately.
3. No discrimination: Discrimination against any employee is not
acceptable. We will not tolerate discrimination based on personal
characteristics, including but not limited to those listed in the first
point.
4. No violence: We do not tolerate violence or threats of violence.
5. Confidentiality: All employees must respect the confidentiality of
others. Do not share anyone’s personal or confidential information
without their explicit consent.
6. Follow the law: All employees must comply with all applicable laws
and regulations.
7. No illegal activity: We do not permit any illegal activity by
employees, either on or off duty.
8. No conflict of interest: Employees must avoid any actual or
perceived conflicts of interest and must not engage in any activity
that could harm The Slough Hub or its reputation.
9. No use of company resources for personal gain: Employees must
not use company resources or property for personal gain or benefit.
10. No solicitation or distribution: Employees must not solicit or
distribute materials for personal or third-party gain without express
permission.
11. No discrimination against participants or service
providers: Discrimination against clients or customers is
unacceptable.
12. Reporting violations: If you observe any violations of this
Code of Conduct or any behaviour that makes you feel
uncomfortable, please report it to your supervisor, a member of HR
or the organization.
13. Consequences: If an employee violates this Code of Conduct,
we may take appropriate disciplinary action, including but not limited
to: issuing a warning, suspension, termination, or legal action if the
violation involves illegal activity.

We take this Code of Conduct very seriously and will do our best to ensure
that all employees feel safe and respected while working for The Slough

Code of Conduct or any behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable,
please report it to a staff member or the organization.
11. Consequences: If a participant violates this Code of Conduct,
we may take appropriate action, including but not limited to: issuing a
warning, suspension, or banning from our premises or services.

including but not limited to offensive comments, verbal or physical
abuse, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome attention. If

customers.

 trainers, and other staff with respect, regardless of gender,
gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical
appearance, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or other
personal characteristics.
2. No discrimination: Discrimination against any individual or group is
not acceptable. We will not tolerate discrimination based on personal
characteristics, including but not limited to those listed in the first
point.

timely and reliable services and inform The Slough Hub in advance of
any planned absences or delays.
11. Quality of service: Service providers must provide services of
the highest quality and must take all reasonable steps to meet the
needs of our clients.
12. Reporting violations: If you observe any violations of this
Code of Conduct or any behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable,
please report it to a staff member or the organization.
13. Consequences: If a service provider violates this Code of Conduct, we may take appropriate action, including but not limited to
issuing a warning,

service providers, trainers, and other volunteers with respect,
regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual
orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion
(or lack thereof), or other personal characteristics.
2. No discrimination: Discrimination against any individual or group is
not acceptable. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination based
on personal characteristics, including but not limited to those listed in
the first point.
3. No harassment: We do not tolerate any form of harassment,
including but not limited to: offensive comments, verbal or physical
abuse, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome attention. If
someone tells you to stop, you must stop immediately.

Slough Hub’s information and data and must not disclose or use such
information for any other purpose without The Slough Hub’s express
consent.
8. No solicitation or distribution: Volunteers must not solicit or
distribute materials for personal or third-party gain without express
permission.
9. No use of company resources for personal gain: Volunteers must
not use company resources or property for personal gain or benefit.
10. Timeliness and reliability: Volunteers must arrive on time and
fulfil their commitments promptly and reasonably. If a volunteer
cannot fulfil a commitment, they must inform The Slough Hub as
soon as possible.
11. Quality of service: Volunteers must provide services of the
highest quality and must take all reasonable steps to meet the needs
of our clients.
12. Reporting violations: If you observe any violations of this
Code of Conduct or any behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable,
please report it to a staff member or the organization.
13. Consequences: If a volunteer violates this Code of Conduct,
we may take appropriate action, including but not limited to issuing a
warning, suspension, or termination of the volunteer agreement.
