Join us for a day filled with excitement, celebration, and the thrill of competition as we showcase the wide variety of sports available in Slough. Slough Olympica isn’t just an event—it’s an opportunity for sports clubs and groups to raise their profile and encourage more people to join their ranks.
The Event will also feature a Sports Directory and Sports Map of Slough, both in physical and online formats. Every participating organization will get an entry in the directory, and those who opt for the £20 option will receive a half-page ad in the printed version—an excellent opportunity for additional exposure.
We welcome sports clubs of all disciplines and backgrounds to take part in this event. Whether you are a Rugby Club or a Cycling Club or into Marshal Arts or Boxing, or even Kabbadi or Cheese rolling you are all welcome.
You can be a professional club or an amateur group. The only requirement is a passion for your sport and a desire to engage with the local community. By attending this event, you will be able to showcase your sports club by having a stand and/or giving demonstrations to the public. By participating, your club will not only connect with but also contribute to the well-being of our community.
Every participating club or group gets a table or stand to showcase their banners, posters, and leaflets, providing a prime opportunity to connect with potential new members and supporters.
Slough Olympica fosters a sense of community spirit and togetherness by bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together through sports and recreational activities. It’s a chance to connect with the community on a meaningful level.
By participating in Slough Olympica, clubs and groups play a vital role in encouraging residents of Slough to embrace physical activity as part of their daily routine, promoting long-term health benefits and well-being.
We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to participate, regardless of their physical abilities. It’s about making sports accessible to all and celebrating diversity.
