LOVE watching animated movies? Animation Expressions give you the opportunity to create your own.
The children are able to use the animation equipment independently. They have the opportunity to design characters and sets and make creative decisions for themselves and their peers.
After each exciting workshop, their wonderful animations will be presented as a mini-presentation showcase. A fantastic memory to be shared with the family and friends to watch over and over again.
Benefits of Animation Expressions:
It is a great way to combine creative skills with digital learning. It is also a good way of expressing thoughts and ideas in an Audio-Visual format, “taking ART & ICT to infinity and beyond”.
Animation can be applied to school Creative Curriculum subjects for example:
Literacy – story writing, story boarding, scripts, reading, poetry, credits.
Music – rhythm and timing, songs, sound effects.
Art and design – drawing and designing character models and background settings.
Drama – character expression, reading scripts and movement
ICT – use of iPads and modern software.
All children play a special role in the making process, bringing the animation to life. Throughout the production the children are given the opportunity to participate in the camera work, designing, directing, recording, and much more. No matter what their abilities are.
