My lamp post is made with various sizes of hearts and colours, which represent the diversity of the residents, businesses, and the growth of Slough.

Growing up in Slough in the 70s/80’s everyone knew everyone. On Stoke Road, we had the greengrocers, the bakery, the post office, jewellers, newsagents, a hardware store, a video shop, a bicycle shop and so much more on a small section of the road. Even then the diversity was slowly growing.

Slough is embracing the world and opening its heart to everyone. Love Slough

My name is Satty and I am an Emotional Artist and International Author. I was raised in Slough and I left to go to College. Somehow at the age of 18, I ended up in Reading. Slough holds some precious memories which will forever be kept in my Heart.

Art has been an escape for me since I can remember. It has helped me escape to mystery islands, dark corners of different worlds, and escape from life. It has been a tool that I used over the years many, many times.

I am in recovery, I am a grateful recovering compulsive gambler, addict, alcohol, and adult child. I have been in recovery since September 2019 and I am the happiest I have ever been. Now I can express my emotions through the collection of different mediums.
